Community is not just an aid to us living a better life. Community is the life God has called us to. Ephesians 3 tells us that it is “with the saints” that we have the strength to “comprehend the height, depth and width of the love of God” and know the fullness of God. God has called community into fellowship that is not just worldly friendship. We are called according to Ephesians 2:22 to be built together for a dwelling place for God in which he comes to live by His spirit. We have unlimited capacity to carry His presence in our togetherness.
