Prayer might be the greatest and clearest way we connect with God. Jesus has bridged the gap between heaven and earth in His death and resurrection, but we call out to heaven in our prayer. Prayer is formational, but not only formational. It is partnership with God in heaven. It has power to heal the sick, change the outcomes of nations and calm the anxious heart. God has called us to pray in faith, believing that He will grant what we ask for (John 15:7), believing that those desires that we bring to Him that are not Godly, would be washed away in a life submitted to His love. Prayer is our way of communing with God everyday.
