Sin is disobedience to God. It not only separates us from walking closely with him; it breaks our ability to walk as we are called to walk. By the blood of Jesus, we receive forgiveness from sins and power to live righteously. Any preaching of the gospel that lessens the effect of sin on man is faulty. Any preaching of the gospel that lessens the power of God to bring us into wholeness and righteousness is also faulty.
