In John’s epistle, he warns us of a temptation that is always present. That temptation is love this world or the things of this world. All of the things that God has created are good, but the systems, products, and societies that man creates apart from God, will ultimately be found wanting. We are called to live holy, meditating and fixing our eyes on those things which are good and Godly. We live in this world as ambassadors of heaven, preaching His Gospel, extending His kingdom and awaiting His return.
